This is a case of HDS Thread Lifting, which stands for High Definition Mass Thread Lifting—a lifting procedure done with threads. It’s very interesting because the patient is already more advanced in age, who had undergone a deep plane facelift about ten years before, maybe fifteen years before, and had no desire to do another facelift, although it came out very well with the whole postoperative course of the deep facelift and she turned to me to do something that always had results but, of course, was easier to manage after the treatment. We placed six threads per side, and in my opinion, as well as hers, we achieved a result entirely comparable to the deep plane facelift she had undergone many years before.
