Another case of HDS Thread Lifting, which stands for High Definition SMAS Thread Lifting, involves threads. A patient I’ve known for many years wanted to undergo this innovative method of lifting tissues upward by inserting threads into the SMAS, which is the deep layer beneath the subcutaneous tissue. In my opinion, we achieved the result that the patient desired – no drastic changes, no additions, as she already had certain facial dimensions, and she didn’t want anything removed or cut. She didn’t want to undergo a traditional facelift but simply wanted to reposition the tissues. The face visibly looks younger, and the patient is decidedly satisfied.
